The Champions of the 2025 Tiramisù World Cup!🥇
Barbara Tosato from Mestre (Venice) and Daniela De Biasio from Farra di Soligo (Prosecco Hills) are the 2025 Champions of the Tiramisù World Cup – “Treviso and the gastronomist Giuseppe Maffioli”. After two intense days of selections, the Final took place on Sunday afternoon in Piazza Borsa, Treviso, featuring finalists who emerged from a competition of 240 contestants from all over the World.
The 9th edition of the Tiramisù World Cup has concluded. The winners are: Barbara Tosato a medical radiotherapy technician from Mestre, for the original recipe, and Daniela De Biasio an agritourism worker from Farra di Soligo, for the creative recipe with her “Il Golosone” featuring with salted caramel cream and apricot compote.
The other Finalists included: for the original recipe, Daniele Giovinazzo from Aosta (Valle d’Aosta) and Monia Salvadori from Spresiano (Treviso).
For the creative recipe category, the finalists were Manuel Coletti from Vazzola (Treviso) with a recipe featuring peaches in syrup, walnuts and dark chocolate, and Paolo Silvegni from Rimini (Emilia Romagna), who won the La Cucina Italiana Prize with his Tonka bean and cinnamon Tiramisù.
The Competition
After two days of Selections, surpassing 240 competitors, the two Champions won over the jury, which included, among others, Laura Forti from La Cucina Italiana (Jury President), Manuel Gobbo (chef at Ristorante Le Beccherie), Dania Sartorato (President of FIPE and Confcommercio Treviso), Massimo Linguanotto (son of Roberto “Loli” Linguanotto, the father of Treviso’s Tiramisù), Nadia Ceoldo (2024 TWC Champion for the original recipe), Isabella Bucciol (2024 TWC Champion for the creative recipe), and Christian Pritchard (Executive Chef at Aurora Importing).
“Over time, a great deal of interest has grown around Tiramisù. Our task has been to project the image of this dessert so closely linked to Treviso to the world, as it is now a heritage of ours on par with the Eiffel Tower. But we must not rest on our laurels; there is still much work to be done,” explains Francesco Redi of Twissen, the event organizer. Looking to the future, he adds: “We start again tomorrow for what will be the 10th edition of the TWC, a milestone year, full of enthusiasm and surprises, as always.”

Other special prizes awarded included:
- La Cucina Italiana Award,given to Paolo Silvegni, TWC 2025 finalist;
- Matilde Vicenzi Award, awarded to Barbara Tosato in the original recipe category;
- Hausbrandt Award, presented to Monia Salvadori, TWC 2025 finalist, for the best enhancement of coffee;
- Moralberti Award, given to Daniela De Biasio for the most innovative creative tiramisù;
- Ditosama Award, a merit recognition presented to champions Barbara Tosato and Daniela De Biasio;
- Le Beccherie Award, a merit recognition presented to champions Barbara Tosato and Daniela De Biasio.
