Who Are the Winners of the 2024 Tiramisù World Cup?

Nadia Ceoldo from Salzano and Isabella Bucciol from Portogruaro are the 2024 Champions of the Tiramisù World Cup – Treviso and the Roots. After two days of Selections, the Sunday afternoon Final saw the best competitors emerge from a field of 240 participants from all over the world.

The 8th edition of the Tiramisù World Cup has concluded. The winners are: Nadia Ceoldo from Salzano, a 48-year-old architect, for the original recipe, and Isabella Bucciol from Portogruaro, a 44-year-old employee, for the creative recipe with her “Festive Tiramisù” featuring licorice powder, orange marmalade, and peanut brittle.

The other Finalists included: for the original recipe, Stefania Bovo (commercial employee) from Vicenza and Mauro Akio Kamiguchi (aeronautical engineer) from São Paulo (Brazil).

For the creative recipe category, the finalists were Antonio Panzetta (IT consultant) from Noventa di Piave (Venice) with his tiramisù featuring rosemary, lime, and ginger; and Miriam Pressato (employee) from Padua, who created a recipe with praline hazelnuts, dark chocolate, and amaretti cookies.

 

The Competition

After two days of Selections, surpassing 240 competitors, the two Champions won over the jury, which included, among others, Laura Forti from La Cucina Italiana (Jury President), Manuel Gobbo (chef at Ristorante Le Beccherie), Dania Sartorato (President of FIPE and Confcommercio Treviso), Massimo Linguanotto (son of Roberto “Loli” Linguanotto, the father of Treviso’s Tiramisù), Patricia Guerra (2023 TWC Champion for the original recipe), Mario De Santis (2023 TWC Champion for the creative recipe), Christian Pritchard (Executive Chef at Aurora Importing), Carmelo Carnevale (chef-owner of Ristorante Ballarò in London), and Maurizio Peccolo (Executive Chef at Ristorante Lucca in Bordentown).

“This was another fantastic edition that we are truly happy with. We saw so much enthusiasm and passion from the contestants, judges, audience, and everyone involved,” explains Francesco Redi of Twissen, the event organizer.

“The event, already working alongside the Radici Venete association, continues to grow internationally (this year, over 30% of participants came from abroad). We’ve already opened registrations for the 2025 TWC, and we’re ready to go again with even more energy!”

 

Other Tiramisù World Cup Awards

Other special prizes awarded included:

 

    • La Cucina Italiana Award, given to Stefania Bovo from Vicenza, finalist in the original recipe category;
    • Hausbrandt Award, presented to Nadia Ceoldo from Salzano for the best enhancement of coffee;
    • Matilde Vicenzi Award, awarded to Nadia Ceoldo in the original recipe category;
    • Bellezza BeautyDrop Treviso Award, for the most beautiful tiramisù, given to Stefania Bovo from Vicenza for the original recipe;
    • Moralberti Award, given to Isabella Bucciol for the most innovative creative tiramisù;
    • Le Beccherie Award, a merit recognition presented to champions Nadia Ceoldo and Isabella Bucciol.

 

The Tiramisù World Cup is held in collaboration with the Tiramisù Academy.
