The Competition

After two days of Selections, surpassing 320 competitors, the two Champions won over the jury, which included, among others, Laura Forti from La Cucina Italiana (Jury President), Manuel Gobbo (chef at Ristorante Le Beccherie), Michele Pozzobon (President of FIPE and Confcommercio Treviso), Massimo Linguanotto (son of Roberto “Loli” Linguanotto, the father of Treviso’s Tiramisù), Barbara Tosato (2025 TWC Champion for the original recipe), Daniela De Biasio (2025 TWC Champion for the creative recipe), and Christian Pritchard (Executive Chef at Aurora Importing).

“We’ve made the most of this first anniversary,” says Francesco Redi, founder and organiser of the TWC. “Registrations are already open for next year’s edition, which promises to be even more engaging and full of passion. Every year, we see just how much interest in tiramisù grows, along with the network of connections that develops around it, both in our local area and beyond. Tiramisù is now about much more than recipes: it has become a shared language that brings people together. The real challenge for the future is to turn this growing international interest into an even stronger desire to come and discover the places that are now inextricably linked to tiramisù.”
